Springfield's Ambassadors Proud of School

Student ambassadors welcome over 700 visitors

Springfield’s Open Evening on 25 September successfully showcased the school’s vibrant community and extensive facilities.  The event provided prospective students and their families with an opportunity to experience first-hand the dynamic learning environment and find out about the wide-ranging curriculum on offer.

Enthusiastic student ambassadors, prefects and dedicated staff were on hand to welcome visitors, answer their questions, and guide them around the grounds. Over 700 visitors attended the evening in order to gain an insight into school life.

Ms Spivey, Headteacher - ably assisted by the Head Girl, Head Boy and two Year 8 students – gave a number of presentations to families throughout the evening.   She spoke with them about the support in place for students as they make the significant transition to secondary school and the Trust’s ‘aspire, learn, achieve’ ethos.

Thank you to the students, staff and volunteers who made the event such a success.  We look forward to welcoming our new cohort of Year 7 students next September.
