Improving Provision and Outcomes
Improving provision and outcomes for young people with SEND was top of our school leaders' agenda today as they took part in a Challenge Partners Event in London. The launch event, which will lead on to challenging peer reviews across the country, included keynote presentations from a number of experts in the field of SEND Education. David Bartram OBE used the Pendleton Primary Colours model of leadership to share practical examples of excellent SEND provision; Laura Page, Director of Schools Supported, explored how the peer review process can drive school improvement; and Helen Hayes, MP and Chair of the education Select Committee highlighted recent recommendations on SEND education made to the Government. Ms Spivey, CEO, commented, "It has been a truly engaging and informative day for the team, and we look forward to engaging with the research, review and developmental work that will help us to improve our offer further across our schools."
